Little man-
I cannot believe 2 months & 2 days have gone by already! You are getting so big! As I picked you up this morning from your changing table I looked in the mirror and thought to myself "How much longer will I be able to carry you around?? You are as long as mommy's top half already!" And what a big month this was! You have accomplished so much!
You have now met all your grandmas- Grandma Alyce is here this week and the Swigarts were here last weekend. You met your Great Aunts Anita, Sheila, and Shar who all love you SO much! And you even went to your 1st bar! ;o) We went to Trials w/the family to play darts and get some good English food. Grandma Alyce & Auntie Meg babysat you while mommy and daddy went to a movie- what a big step for us!
You can now fully lift your head whenever you want. You love tummy time and love looking around. Mostly you just love that you have easy access to your fingers when you're on your tummy. You are starting to figure out that your hands are YOURS now. They still flail around quite a bit but you can usually get them in your mouth when you are tired, and on your 2 month birthday you grabbed your 1st toy! And you are so strong you actually picked it up and moved it! You also LOVE pushing up with your legs! Makes mommy wonder if she's going to have an early walker.
Your smiles and cooing happen all the time now. Every time you smile at me it melts my heart. I am so glad I have 2 more months home with you and I cant wait to see what this month will bring!
