Well I didn't write Rowan a letter on his 3 month b-day and I feel horrible! We were SO busy I just could not set aside time, and I did not have the energy. We were very successful w/ "Operation: Crib naps" that week, but as a result he wasn't sleeping at night until we adjusted (and I was cooped up in the house for EVERY nap, i.e. ALL DAY) and I was a wreck. We had been so busy w/ company and such that he got used to sleeping in his carseat/stroller for ALL his naps and would only sleep in his bed for nighttime. Now we are down to 3 naps a day and sleeping well at night too! And we are back to freedom to go out- and he will sleep wherever I want him too :o)
We just got back from San Diego the other day. It was a 5 day trip- Rowan and I stayed w/ my parents. We had a BBQ at Jer's after Jer took some AMAZING pictures of us. We also had a BBQ at my aunt & uncles house. It was wonderful to see everyone- and Rowan got to meet his other Great-Grandparents.
I cannot believe how fast time is flying. I go back to work in a few weeks and Nate said last night, "He's turning into a little boy" which of course made me start to cry! Rowan can now pull himself up into a sitting position when he is reclined, or helps me pull him up from laying down. He falls over still sitting w/out a little help, but we're almost there! He still is not rolling over and I'm starting to think he might start crawling 1st! He keeps scooting himself around by walking his feet up towards himself. His favorite thing to do these days is stand up and look around w/ your help and "flying". He will pitch a fit if he is bored and wants to STAND!
