Little man~
You are 14 months old today and we certainly celebrated in style this weekend. Father's day was wonderful. Your Grand-dad and Grandma came to visit. We walked down to the school and played on the playground, played in the yard with the dogs, and had a wonderful BBQ. Uncle Zac and Auntie Meg came for lunch and dinner and you had a BLAST. You can ALMOST say "Zac." (Daddy's gift basket also had Hero Chips, Hero Juice, Hero Mints, X-Ray vision drops, and a new baseball cap).
You have the best daddy in the world, and we had a lot of fun putting his basket together. He is so involved and watching him with you is amazing. He loves you more than you will know.
Today Grand-dad and Grandma were still in town so we woke up, they brought bagels, and we headed over to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk for the day. We played in the sand, watched some rides, and walked down to the wharf for lunch. Grand-dad bought you cotton candy, but you didn't really like it. (Thank goodness), and then after lunch you had a little bit of Mango Ice from the gellato place. You even lasted all the way until 230-ish when we got in the car to go home.
Grandma & Grand-dad had to leave afterward, they are on a road trip to go visit your great aunts and uncle.
Things are getting more interesting for you now that you can walk. Its like a whole new world outside we have to re-explore. The rest of the summer is really busy, but with all kinds of fun activities for a walker! We cannot wait to see you explore Big Sur next month! We love you!
