So you are 10 months old today and I just cannot believe how soon your birthday is! I am starting to get really excited about your birthday. The last week and a half or so your language comprehension has really grown. Its amazing that you can really understand us now! You can say "Dada", "Mama", "Adaw" (dog), "Baw" (ball), "mummum"(yum yum), and "nana"- banana, your favorite food. And you will sometimes try to copy words when we try to get you to say them- like book and bear and head. You also know what a ball is and will go find one if we ask you where your ball is. You also know what your feet are, that socks go on your feet (you will gently lay them on your foot when we ask you where your socks go- so sweet!) You also know where your head is and that a hat goes on your head!
We are still waiting for you to start letting go while standing up and start walking- you have been cruising for a WHILE but get nervous letting go. You just started trying to clap on Wed. and look so proud of yourself when you do it.
We also had a rough cold this week- fever and sleepless nights & days. You are starting to feel better and get back into your normal nap routine though, thank goodness! Hopefully we get our nights back... tonight maybe??
We took you to the aquarium in Monterey a few weeks ago and we have never seen you so excited! You LOVED the fish. There was a little window into the aquarium that was curved INTO the tank. So we sat you inside of it and you kicked and screamed with delight watching the fish swim around you.
We love you little man and we are having such a wonderful time teaching you about the world!
