4 months old!

My little man-
I cannot believe this is here already! Yesterday you turned 4 months old (and we had to get your shots so we snuggled instead of me writing!) Its a little bittersweet- you are hitting milestones which is SO exciting, but it also means mommy has to go back to work. We are going to get to spend more time together than we planned though, because I have stepped back and work and will only be working part time! What a wonderful solution to me wanting to stay home with you, but needing to go back to work!

And as for milestones- you managed to hit 3 of them in the last few days! On Tuesday you realized you have feet! You played with them for a little bit, but they aren't as big of a hit yet as I thought they would be. You also rolled from back to tummy while you were in your crib and I got to see it this time! And yesterday you sat up without my help for a couple seconds! You are trying SO hard to sit all the time! You pretty much have decided you do not want to lay down anymore. Always doing sit ups, and getting annoyed if I have you reclined in your stroller. You want to see the world!

Your eczema is a struggle for us- I feel so bad that you inherited this from me! You have figured out how to scratch and I know your pain! I am hoping its only baby eczema and you grow out of it soon. But you are still such a happy baby! A third of a year has gone by.... and a year since we found out you were on your way. What an amazing year it has been! I am so proud of you and your accomplishments so far! You are such a perfect little boy- I almost wish you would stay this small forever! But so many exciting things are waiting for us in the future...
