11 months

Little man~
   You've hit 11 months and we are having the time of our lives. This week you had your 1st corned beef & cabbage- big hit. I couldn't even get a smile out of you, since you were so busy eating and loving it.
  You also went to the beach for the first time! Our friend Lise came and we had SUCH a wonderful time. You found shells and rocks in the sand, chewed on them, dipped them back into the sand for more, and chewed again- gross! (And yes, I let you do this a couple times- I thought you would realize it didn't taste good.) We walked and splashed in the water, and played on logs. What a perfect day. I cannot wait to take you back!

  This month you learned to kick your balls around the house- one of your favorite games. When you kick you stick your leg out and you look like those guys on the "Captain Morgan Rum" commercials. You know the difference between the names of your toys and can point out your balls, lion, books, and pumpkin. Whenever you see a hat or sunglasses you point to your head. Even when they are on other people we don't know! You are getting close to saying "Duck" and "Bath" and I think you even ask for baths in the afternoons now.

The weather has been nice the last few days, we broke out some spring clothes and I think you love being in just a diaper in the afternoons. Mommy is having a wonderful time showing you what springtime brings every day! Its so nice not to be cooped up in the house. I cannot wait for you to start to walk on your own (you are very nervous about this still) so that we can explore things on a whole new level! Toddler-hood ~ here we come!
