What a day

You know those days that feel like nothing goes the way you expected... that was yesterday. I woke up after getting too much sleep (yes- I was home Mon. night so we went to bed early for me) with my back hurting, the chores never seemed to end, I got a bloody nose while trying to take some time to snuggle Rowan to feel better, and Rowan was just a... TODDLER. Testing my limits just about every waking moment.

By afternoon nap... when he slept another TWO hours, after a 2.5 hour nap in the morning, I realized he must not be feeling well and that is why he was acting the way he was. I am hoping its a growth spurt and not an illness!

But today has started out better. I wanted to get up early but failed to set my alarm clock. A neighbor dog woke me up just when I needed to. I got to shower and started to enjoy some coffee. The dogs got fed... and with a clear head I saw how much I accomplished yesterday. Laundry, clean floors, clean area rugs, clean dishes, Rowan's birthday present, and ALMOST finished Rowan's 1st year book. Too bad I work tonight, but I am determined to make today a better day. I think we are going to color eggs.
