April

In one hour it will be April... My boy will be one in three weeks. I finished his photo book this morning and I think its going to be perfect. I cannot wait to see it. It did make me miss the little baby just a tad though.

We colored eggs this morning- for the last page of our 1st year book. We needed to squeeze Easter in there! Rowan had a ball tossing the eggs onto the big kid table and letting it roll back onto the tray of his high chair. THEN he figured out that if he smashed the egg it made a funny noise. Sooo... he tried that one for lunch, and hated it (he likes his eggs gooey). When I wouldn't let him hold an egg at the end for pictures it was apparently the end of the world. Overall I think it went pretty well. Oh those chubby little fingers painting eggs... cutest thing EVER!

Ro also let go of the couch while standing again this afternoon. Hopefully walking is just around the corner. Instead of worrying about my floors being spotless-to avoid brown knees on his pants- I can worry about, oh, so many other things. Haha, actually I don't think it will be THAT bad. The kitchen is half baby-proofed and everything else he can pull himself up on already.

I have Easter off now- someone else needed to move some shifts around so that's what I ended up with. So we MIGHT attempt a very easy egg hunt. Nate is skeptical, I think Ro is smart enough to figure it out. Will the weather be good enough to play outside though... Winter has been back for 2 days now. We all THOUGHT that was over. I secretly like when the heater turns on after Nate gets out of bed...
